Legends of Belariath

Cybil

Cybil was born in a small community south east of Nanthalion but still well within the Empire borders. As it might be easier to guess away from the capital not so much magic is practiced and outside healing, magic was considered dark arts where she was born. Growing up her power beggan to manifest, first in small cantrips that to some might seam amusing and then in spells slightly more powerful. When it was descovered she had the gift her father took her to the woods one night intending to kill her though never able to strike down her crying child. She was abandoned, left to fend for herself which was only going to have one possible outcome though luck or perhaps the gods will a traveler found her right the next morning in the place she had been left and took her to a larger town clsoer to Nanthalion. Here she was sold even at her tender age to a family who accepted the fact that she could use magic. Of course from there on most of her life was spent taking care of the house along with other employees, she was given a room, clothes, food and on ocasion a coin. she was also taught how to behave in society but she was always a brat at heart.

It took her a few years to actually get on her feet and to find someone who taught her what she really wanted to learn, how to use her power and she learned faster than anyone would expect her to and with time she too wanted more of life. living in the confort of a home that was not hers and working nearly for free suddenly didn't suit ehr no more, she came to the understanding of how explored she was by her earlier benefactor and one night she stole a rather large sum of money and set out to the world.

Now that money is mostly expended in both food and lodging through out her journey and she finally arrived in Nanthalion where magic wasn't outcast or simply tolerated, but actually encouraged, with two promissing towers of magic. Now she had to decided what to do with her life though her first steps took her to the first logical place possible. The Lonelly Inn.
