Aislin remembered well his childhood and those of his family. However, those happy memories were so short and soon he was left alone to fend for himself. He however was not alone for long as he was immediately sent to live with a complete stranger: the widow of a friend of his family and her daughters.
Living with them for all those years were hell. They continuously tormented him in every possible way and treated him like a low creature, not even human. They forced him to do every conceivably horrible task there was to be done. If the horrible work was not enough, the daughters used every chance to pull pranks and tease him in every way. They even lowered him into the local well and left him trapped down there for several days before he was found by the local sheriff whom heard his cry out.
Despite being found by one of the local authorities, the torment continued for another year. He was able to keep from bursting out through the discovery of the output of two means, art and music. Having always had a natural skill in art, he could draw some of the most beautiful pictures, most of which he kept hidden away in fear the daughters would take them and use them in their teasing and torments.
But despite the other means to let out his anger and frustration of being in this situation, he finally reached his breaking point when he felt his first crush and it turns out it was with a male. He attempted to keep it secret from his caretakers. He could not keep it a secret forever as he attempted to try to tell this other through a message. They managed to get a hold of the note and in mockery and committing horrible acts against him before locking him in a small cramp space for the night.
After finally being released that night, he made it his decision to escape. With the moon so high, he escaped into the nearby village to stock up on supplies. He continued on the road, at first trying to make as much distance from them as possible. He managed to make it to the nearby big city where he found himself lost in the large crowd. As he moved further away, his mind slowly went from worrying about those he fled from to simply surviving.
Most of his food supply had been consumed and he was risking starving if he did not find a way to make money. With a few tricks he learned from his father, he began to perform in the streets drawing the attention of a few people and making a small amount just enough to keep him alive. His tracks did not keep at attention of the crowd upon him long and they began to lose interest rather quickly. And worst yet, his fond dislike and distrust for those of the opposite sex caused him to treat them pretty badly. He entered a state of desperation with no means to earn money for food.
It was during one of his performances that he met several traveling performers who seemed to rather enjoy his performance. He immediately took their offer to join them for food, half-starved as it was, traveled to the camp. Several more times he found himself back at the camp, just happy to have company again. He was unofficially adopted by them and soon found himself on the road, performing in the shows. He learned numerous tricks to entertain, developing his own performance and drawing crowds particularly with his music.
One particular person did not like Aislin though. She was annoyed on how easily accepted he was and now easy he got the attention of the others, particularly the males. She became very upset when he began to flirt with one of them who she had a crush on and could not keep the one she like's attention. She took it more then serious by first trying to spread bad rumors about Aislin. When that did not work, she attempted to sabotage his performance numerous times with little success. She finally successfully got to him when she accidently almost got Aislin killed and getting her fired from the group. The fear got to Aislin however and he decided it would be best if he left them to travel on his own.
After saying goodbye, he left from the group and begin his journey. That was the first time he crossed the border into Nanthalion. He travels through the land until he arrives at the bathhouse. That is where he first met Jeffrin and Kira along with a group of other males within the land. He was able to enjoy their company for the first time freely. Having discovered the nature of the land and rather liking it, he continued to meet numerous people.
It was at the Inn where he met his first lover, Niko. After determining their feelings they remained close together, enjoy each other. Unfortunately Niko became severely ill, forcing him to disappear for a time. He was able to keep his mind occupied and avoid becoming too depressed about his loss. But it was Kira who helped him most through the entire thing as he discovered slowly he was developing feelings for the fire dancer. Eventually they both disclosed their feelings for each other. Soon Jeffrin, Kira, and Aislin made the same declaration to both of each other and Aislin accepted to become engaged to Jeffrin and Kira both at the same time. Together they purchased a large property and built a tower which they now consider home.
Together they attempt to make a home for themselves within the land and Aislin finally found family to be with.
