Akris The first born in his Family, he was forced to take care of himself more and more as he got older as his Parents spent more time taking care of the other children. HIs parents died though while they were all still too young to take care of themselves so Akris took his siblings to the temple of Tepictuc so they would be taken care of by their own kind, but he felt a different calling one of Balance. He left seeking a place that suited him and soon he found a group of clerics who worshiped Gaea and they took him in and began to raise him and train him to be a child of Gaea but he held some anger and regret for his parents so his heart was not pure or truly balanced, and the others noticed this and told him that it was fine because gaea has chosen him to be one of her children who takes from the world while another of her children would give witch created the balance that was needed. He would spend a lot of his time in the library reading and learning of all the races created by Gaea or even those of other gods. Once he finally reached 18 he was free to leave and he wanted to seek out a place that may need him, He spent many months traveling and following the voice of Gaea. On his travels he came upon a Duessa, he had never seen such a lovely creature in his life before but he had read about them, the one thing he didn't know was this would be a meeting that changes his life. He approached the woman and he had let his guard down not knowing that it would have been a mistake. His eyes moved along that wonderful form and as he finally got close enough to reach out and touch her form, he felt a shiver run through his body from the chill of her body. He had thought her dead, but as she began to awaken he was still curious as he couldn't sense any heat coming from her, but as he eyes opened he became lost in her gaze, but as she spoke he nearly melted into a puddle. The voice he heard was something he couldn't explain and it drew him to her even more and he needed to have her. He would find that after sometime of being with this woman she was manipulating him and even began to drive him mad. The madness grew whenever they were apart and over the course of the time he was with her he soon realized what was going on and he began to fight those urges he had and soon found himself controlling her and being more resilient to the effects of the Duessa. He took control of her and made her into a wonderful little toy but once she realized she no longer had control she had left him, this only drove him further into the depths of madness and made him more sadistic. He finally heard the voice of Gaea once again calling for him to move on as if his time to find something new was needed. He came to a port town and booked passage on a ship that would take him to a new land where he was being guided to go. He spent many month on the ship and even learned how to navigate by using the stars, he even very much enjoyed the life at sea and it became something he desired to continue to do, but with that darkness still within had him wondering what it would be like to sail the seas as a pirate. He spent much time thinking on this and soon he would decide that is exactly what he would plan to do once he was able to get his own ship. Once the ship finally reached the port of Thallis, he found himself heading straight for the Grove of Balance. He would meet Dasan who was the head druid whom he would speak with to get employed as a cleric. This was something he was needing to do since it was a part of his calling, but he would eventually hear of the Noble Ray`el who was the Noble of Thallis and he would eventually head there seeking out employment as a ship captin. Now that Akris has been in these lands for a while he has meet a few wonderful people but he was still working towards his goal of becoming a Pirate Captin and those who wished to join him would be allowed, as long as they knew there place upon his ship.
