Legends of Belariath

Decadence

Character Description:

Decadence was easily noticeable outside of the comforts of the forest, yet her captivating allure would be a pleasant oddity for the curious sort. Her elvish ears were hardly mistakable, as she would often tuck her lush, reddish-copper hair behind them to expose her earthy blue eyes. She bestows great pride in her hair, often keeping the front braided with intricate wooden beads and various small trinkets. Her hair was thick, curly, and lengthy; often reaching the small of her back. Like the majority of her race, her tawny skin was creamy and flawless, aside from a small scar that was camouflaged by her thin eye brows. To embark upon the young beauty could be foreseen as both stimulating and daring, as despite being a mere 5'1" she was quite muscular in design. Though, her thin frame left little room for voluptuous breasts, but bare in mind, her ample globes were often bejeweled by the garments she wore.

Adventure and exploration ran deep within the naive spirit of this youthful elf, and often would invite trouble and mischief her way. Her attire has changed drastically from her first few days in the lands of Belariath. Upon the parting of her innocence, the elf also parted with her plain, cotton shirt and kilt in an invigorating evening of pleasure. In turn thus changing the woman into an exotic beauty garbed over in sleek satins and silks compliments of her admirer. If not completely devoid of clothing, the elf would generally be seen in a dark leather skirt and strapless red silk top. But upon more elaborate affairs she would be seen in a dashing, red satin dress with an accenting black lace leading up to the plunging neck line. As with her hair, she took great pride in her clothing due to never owning such stylish attire.

Her possessions were as followed:

A pair of leather sandals that weave up to her knees, a dark-leather skirt, a strapless red silk shirt, a red satin dress with black lace, black silky panties, black cotton panties, a pure-white cotton bath robe, a plain dagger, new adventurer armour, a diary and quill, her mother's antique harp (no spec. properties), and a key leading to room 42 on the second floor of the inn. Her possessions were minimal, however, great care and pride were seen clearly in what items she did possess.

Character History:

Her parents were slaughtered only a few years after she was born, thus leaving her brother to take the place as her guardian. He, though, was young himself; hardly able to care for his own wellbeing, let alone hers, but he managed the best he could. What other choice did he have? They shared a difficult life of tending to the fields. Her brother having been responcible for most of the manual labor, where as she would cook the meals, draw the baths, and clean the quaint shack they called home. In the spring she would often pick flowers and arrange elaborate bouquets around the shack to make it more comfortable in appearence. Often going to such extremes as playing her brother a song or two upon her mother's antique harp. They learned to be quite frugil upon their parents death, and remained such even when the crops would bring in a bountiful profit. Living off of the land made things a bit easier, although their parents had left them with a large amount of debt with the wandering gypsies. They remained there, on the farm, for at least a decade before her brother fell sick. She tended to him the best she could. Each night of the last week of his life she would play him a song, and lay there with him. He would not eat, and alas she felt as though she could nurish him with music. Spiritually this was true, but his illness made no turn for the better... and he parished. This would be where their frugil lifestyle would pay off most. As there was no way that she could tend to the labor of the farm alone. She thus opened the make-shift vault her brother had placed below the trap door of the shack and left with what little gold they had managed to save. After what felt like an endless adventure... she found herself at the Inn seeking refuge, with no idea as to where life would take her next.
