Elaine's story beggan as so many others who lived in Oceana. The floating continent being her home and all she knew. Kind hearted but very curious she wanted to explore the world and learn about magic, however their parents always kept a short lesh on her, afraid something would happen they never allowed her to go outside Oceana.
Time however passes quickly and soon Elaine would be 12 years old, the age at which they are admited at the academies for those who which to become a magi. Despite the protests of her parents she'd enroll in the academy to beggin her training towards becoming a superior being, one blessed by Morpheous herself.
Finally free from her parents leash she'd learn quickly everything that was taught, being it in the ways of magic, combat or simply knowledge of the various lores taught which were considered commun knowledge amoung the magi... Time now moved in a much more quicker pace for her, lost between her studies and combat lessons she learned to perfect her body and mind though having very little time for herself, even though, much of her old self still remained, especially her wanderlust.
With the coming of age she finally was ready for the final test before she'd become a true magi. That is the day she remembers most, the temple of trials which she'd have to cross using both her physical prowess and knowledge that she had gathered through the years. She came to the end of it, but now without sweat and pain... What followed next was as wonderful as impossible to explain when she felt the goddess' embrace and finally joined the few chosen who would dedicate their lifes to Morpheous.
For most the story would end here, they would remain in the floating continent doing what they could to excel in their studies of magic however that was not true for Elaine. She wanted more, she still wanted to see the world, live her life and learn from experience rather than books... That was the day Elaine left Oceana only to return when she was satisfied with what she had learned or when her goddess called.
