Legends of Belariath

Faeraddgar

Faeraddgar had been born and raised in a quiet mountainous region life in that area was dull and unimpressive and even in his youthful years contemplated on where to go and what adventures he would have when he was old enough to leave his home. Once in his teens he did just that gathering his belongings anything he could carry and heading away from his home. There were no long good-byes or tearful send offs all those that knew and loved Faeraddar knew that day was a long day coming. He didn't know where he was going when he left though he had made big plans to have wonderful adventures. Though the fact remained he didn't know or understand what the world was like outside the tiny corner of the world that he had called home.

Traveling from the lands he had always known he was a very small man in a very large world and he soon discovered that striking out on his own with no skills to off the world would get him eaten alive. But he couldn't ho home not with the fuss that he had made about leaving then an ideal situation presented itself as though by destiny. Within a small town that the little nixie had stopped off in a caravan of gypsies made their way though. They pushed through the town and were loud and demanding in their efforts for attention. The caravan had stopped to sell their wares and get a bit of coin from the villagers before pushing on to to the next town. These travelers were perfect he would get to see the world and learn the lessons that would keep him alive. With a bit of quick talking he was allowed to travel with the group much to his gleeful satisfaction.

He couldn't of been happier as they traveled from place to place and he got to see things that he hadn't even imagined. The gypsies offered whatever lessons they had to offer. If fact among them was a master artist that happily shared his craft with the young nixie. Each day brought a new lesson building the nixie's skill and love for the fine crafting of arts. Though over time his travels started to lose the appeal that they once had and he thought himself ready to face the world alone. With thank good-byes and the hopes to see those that had helped him out for the second time he left a place that had been home.Venturing from that campsite and away from the gypsies he went out into the wide world once more this time to find his place in it.
