Legends of Belariath

Kytara Sung

400 years ago the Korian Empire was at its height, a vast civilization that spanned the width of a continent. Famed for its culture, technology, and rich history, it was also known for its exclusive use of summoning magic among its top mages. They were mighty men and women of magic who called upon spirits from the elemental and astral planes to do their bidding and almost all were members of the Academy of the Summoning Arts. The Academy, the premier school of magic at the time, was a power to be respected. The headmasters of its branches sat on the ruling councils of all the major cities and the grandmaster was traditional one of the Imperial family's closest advisors.

This all ended when the Empire tore itself apart in a bitter civil war that left the land devastated and the once great civilization was destroyed utterly. The academy, like the rest of the Empire, was nearly evenly divided among the rival factions. Because of this, what could have been an organization strong enough to save the Korian Empire, only added to the devastation, and in the process destroyed itself and even left ruin on the other planes as its inhabitants were called on, again and again, to do battle with each other. Because of this, only a few members of the Academy survived the conflict and the dark times that fell on the land afterward.

One such survivor was the master summoner Kal Sung, A handsome but arrogant man known for his hedonist attitude, selfishness, and perversions. A rather lecherous bastard, Kal Sung kept a harem of slave girls for his deviant sexual pleasures. He was also called a coward by both sides of the fighting, though the truth was the summoner just felt the petty war beneath him and stayed out of the conflict. Kal Sung secured himself with his household in a hidden stronghold, where he spent his days and nights abusing his toys while his country tore itself apart. Kal Sung’s only saving grace was his love for his sister Kytara, who died near the end of the war when she left the stronghold to be at the side of a dying lover: both of whom were killed during a surprise enemy attack.

Grief stricken and finding he could no longer support his little kingdom because of a famine that started sweeping through the Empire's remnants, Kal Sung moved his holdings to a different continent. Once established, the summoner gradually overcame his sorrow and resumed his decadent lifestyle with only annual celebrations honoring his dead sister's birthday. Kal Sung continued his magical researches, eventually discovering a means of extending his lifespan, keeping his body young and vigorous. During his studies and occasional expeditions, the summoner met and befriended another magician who specialized in Life magic. He also shared the same perversions Kal Sung did and they formed a mutual hobby of tracking down powerful and beautiful women and then modifying them into their visions of ultimate sex toys.

Thus the centuries passed, Kal Sung growing more powerful yet more decadent in his tastes. This changed when the summoner tried to capture the high elf Lavidia, the high priestess of Karana. He knew his chosen prey would not be easy to catch; yet her power and legendary beauty were too much for the summoner to resist. He carefully planned and waited until she went off alone on a pilgrimage to a holy site that would leave her hours away from any possible help. Unfortunately for Kal Sung, he chose the time when Lavidia was in communion with her goddess. Facing the power of a deity, the foolish summoner was defeated and killed.

Lavidia did not let him off that easy. She questioned his spirit afterwards and found it wanting. Disgusted by his half millennia life of debauchery and perversion the high priestess decided to teach him a lesson. Using her temporary godlike powers, Lavidia forced Kal Sung's spirit to reincarnate into a body of her own choosing, a magical creation that was the summoner's current vision of what a female pleasure slave should be. She created a lush but lithe, exotic appearing half-elf body whose main purpose was the giving and taking of erotic pleasure, whose scent, voice, and looks were so alluring that they would attract much unwanted attention. But, because of the new body's sexual cravings, that attention would never be unwanted for very long. Lavidia also used a good portion of elf blood in the process, Lavidia made sure that Kal Sung's lesson would last a very long time.

The new being awoke in a city far away, naked, confused, and almost immediately beset by urban predators. The now exotically beautiful half-elf girl, with no magical powers, had to think quickly and learn fast to keep from being collared and sold to the highest bidder. She managed, using her quick mind, no longer dulled by centuries of decadence, to draw upon her former memories and establish herself as the fledgling mage Kytara Sung, a student of the Art. She then made it her priority to reverse this "curse" that had been placed on her, consulting with various mages and priests, but hampered by the geas Lavidia had placed on the girl, one that prevented her from speaking about her former life or the curse. The priestess's intentions obviously were to make sure Kal Sung would be destroyed and the new being Kytara would be his only remnant.

After six months of dodging slavers and their ilk, Kytara decided that the city she was in was too dangerous for too little gain. In her studies, the apprentice summoner had heard of a famous school of magic known as Unigo. So Kytara packed up what little belongings she had and traveled to the area, making her new home at the Lonely Inn, the closest establishment to the remote Tower. Almost immediately she realized that the disreputable place was the home to a wide variety of patrons of lecherous nature that saw her as easy prey. Because of these initial trials, Kytara accepted an offer by Ellena, the head of the elven Unicorn tribe, to become her slave in exchange for protection.

During her enslavement, Kytara met an elven slave girl named kyrspeth whom she befriended and fell in love with. Kyrspeth was what Kytara called her “dark reflection” sharing but, in her case, accepting her submissive desires. Over time the two became as close as sisters, though very intimate in their affections. At the same time Kytara got to know kyrspeth’s master Elthorion as well as his companion Thalea, with whom the summoner had a tumultuous relationship.

This arrangement lasted for two months, at the end of which, after a disagreement between them, Kytara left Ellena's service and became a ward of Unigo. She spent the next six months organizing the school's library and in the process came to know Katarein, the school's mistress and rumored goddess of magic. Acting in her name, Kytara Sung expanded the school's power and influence, taking on more students and hiring staff to serve them her own influence growing as she herself started slipping back into her old lifestyle. Thinking that she had beaten the "curse" by accepting her new body, Kytara thought she could live the life she saw fit and even began the process of taking on new slaves, the winged catgirl azazial and the human ninja kasumi as her personal servants.

More months past and Kytara continued her new life, running Unigo's daily activities with her assistant Zarias, expanding her magical powers, and spending pleasure filled nights with her slaves. Her life was suddenly changed again when the necromancer Sha-Ka challenged her to a duel of magic and steel in the arena, her elemental guardians versus his black magic and demonsword Hellguardian. Deciding that it was best to accept the challenge, Kytara made sure the result of the duel would not be death or maiming and met Shaka out on the Arena's sands a week later.

Kytara fought well but was outclassed by the powerful Drow who, after defeating her, gouged his symbol into her chest with his sword. A small mark, but one with the power to take away Kytara's self-will. He then took her away from the arena despite the protests of the spectators and sold her to a group of slavers. Unable to summon the strength to fight back, Kytara suffered the depravations of the band of humanoid thugs, constantly raped and used by Ogres, Beastmen, and Wolven under the direction of a sadistic pair of Drow female co-leaders intent on breaking Kytara in for sale on the block. To increase the half-elf's sale value one of the Drow cast a spell that caused Kytara's body to grow a three foot long, 2 inch wide hairless tail that moved with supple dexterity. To the mage's horror and shame, the tail acted from her subconscious desires and spent much of its time lewdly caressing and molesting her lush body, much to the amusement of her captors.

After two weeks of enduring this hell, Kytara was tossed into another, set up on the auction block to be bid on by the most depraved and bestial set of potential buyers. The best of which was a huge old Ogre who thought Kytara would make a good "humpstick warma", especially when the girl's tail started humping her on the block in front of a cheering audience. The worst was a priestess of Lovitor who wanted the half-elf as a sacrifice for a year and a day long ritual of excruciating torture, after which Kytara's screaming spirit would be damned to the goddess of pain's realm forever.

However neither of these possible buyers, nor any of the others who were present, succeeded in purchasing the summoner. For the price of 4500 Merhials, kytara was bought and collared by the statuesque wind nymph Andara. An agent of Ellena, Andara had tracked kytara down after the wild elf had decided to recover the summoner from the fate Sha-ka had sought for her. She however had her own plans for Kytara having discovered her origins from a letter from Lavidia. Convinced that it was Karana's will that the spirit of Kal Sung remain a slave forever, Ellena decided that the half-elf should remain in the care of Andara, who had taken a liking for the smaller woman, until it was decided what to do. In the meantime Ellena prayed to Karana to guidance.

Her prayer was answered when the elven goddess showed a vision of an elven slave girl named kami who had prayed daily for deliverance for over 100 years. Karana directed Ellena to find kami and bring her and Kytara together so that a ritual would be performed. The ritual tore apart both women’s souls, merging that which was “good” and putting it in Kytara and merging that was “bad” and placing it in kami. The result was two new people, one being taking claim of the name Kytara Sung with the power and status that she had. The other became the slave of Andara, who renamed her kytari as a reminder and lesson of what was lost.

Physically both woman changed as well, kytari now a victim of Karana’s “curse” including the magical tail, and Kytara Sung now more elven than before, taller and more willowy than her former self, though she still retained the exotic cast to her features. It has been remarked that Kytara looks like kyrspeth more than ever. What other changes both physical and in personality remain to be seen, however it should be noted that what is considered bad and good is all a matter of perspective.
