Legends of Belariath

Majick

At the ripe age of 40 Majick was sold off to the highest bidder.

Her parents had passed away at Majicks early age of 28, she never truelly knew them as a child should. She remembered the soft elven tunes her mother use to sing her, the sweet songs caressed her ears as she had been held to her mothers ample bosom rocking her to sleep. Her fathers loud boyish laughter still rang true in her memory as he spun her around through the leaves, the wind whipped around her as she watched trees and rivers dash by. Those are the memories she held of them. Strong and true and always there. Even after the way they were killed.

A band of rapiest and slavers moved through the elven town, burning everything that could be burned. Flames licked at the huts and trees. Majicks mother through her into the lake as soon as she saw her mate struck down by an arrow to the neck. She ordered Majick to run to the otherside, flee from harm as she tried to fend off the attackers. Majick watched from the banks as her mother was slashed at, clothing cut and stripped away from her leaving bloody streaks of running blood down her chest, legs and stomach. The 28 year old stayed there for sometime transfixed by the horrible sight before she heard one of the slavers say her name, and then she ran chiding herself for not running sooner. But of course her lil legs were no match for the slavers and they took her down, gagged her and through her in a wagon.

She was given to one of the slavers daughters to play with, the girl was quiet kind to Majick even though her parents never were. Majick engraved the thoughts in her mind that not everyone is as bad as they seem just because of the people they assaociate with.

At 39 Majick was shipped to the trainers where she was trained on how to be a proper slave. Sold at 40 to horrible people that owned a winery called "The Ivy Wines". They abused her more than physically but emotionally and mentally as well she started to learn the art of healing and working with nature whenever she could. She taught herself how to read behind her masters back.

One day he found her books after cutting down a nearby hollowed tree and grew livid she would dare defy him. He tied her to a chair and proped her face up with his knee. He took needle and ink, slowly branding her face with a vine of Ivy to Symbolize his property.

Majick Continued to be his slave untill opportunity showed itself one day in a traveling gypsy band. Seeking freedom the elf found a special sort of posion that fights the conscious mind to slumber. As he slept she slipped out and hid under one of the large wagons of the caravan and he never saw her again.

Traveling for many years she finally found Belariath. Just as she was about to pass it by a man caught her eye. The wonderfull feeling she got when just near him, the safety he seemed to offer her, it all beckoned. Now She wears his collar and the love she has for him runs deep. She would do absolutely anything he asks, whenever he asks.
