Legends of Belariath

Opal

Recently she has joined the imperial guard in helping combat some local enemies whom have proven harder to kill. Also she has established a nice house not far from Alta's in which to act as a shrine to her own decadent desires and to her goddess Ishtar.

Meeting the headmaster of Unigo; she wormed her way from reading in the library to his bedroom. An odd tale told by Takao made her relentless to find books of magic within the tower and his room itself. He said there were books alive with their own magic, yet she has yet to find one. Her language in Moriel and in common was manipulated by the headmaster, and soon her innocence was crushed with a language of seduction and eroticism from his lips to her ears. He claimed talking this way excited a man, and from learning earth magic she went on and decided to become a seductress.

Spurred on by a man named Du`ghal Horishmet she was taken in for private lessons, and he has begun teaching her in his home. Promising him she would trust him, Opal lives part time there and part time in Unigo.

Her home in Unigo gives her a place to live, work, and study, and she met a man named Matwyn, a very sneaky shaman, but he did introduce her to the research lab, which peaked her interest. They meet weekly in the same lab to go over new studies, all except the rats which she killed due to the stench of their cages. An innocent proclamation of them dying from old age was the only excuse given to Miyuka. Opal claimed innocence, but she knew the others regarded her as a liar and didn't trust her.

When she met Miyuka she was warned to get on with Matwyn, and if they were to work in the research lab together. Miyuka wanted to work with Opal too. They spent a good week studying the crystals for the new portal, and of course Opal's knowledge compared to Miyuka's wasn't as good, but she was able to help her with a few links and changes she needed to investigate.

One year living in Unigo, led the Moriel to make a promise to the headmaster Takao, to only please a man with the use of her mouth, but the rest of her body was for him. He didn't seem to mind she promised that and when Matwyn tried to take advantage of her through magic, Takao was told about it.

To look at Opal one would think that dark skin and those violet eyes was the picture of youth and innocence, but that wasn't completely true, for the Moriel has higher expectations of herself being granted a home in Du'ghals manor, she was told it was a gift and she should kneel and do as she was told.

Du`ghal placed upon her bed a beautiful robe trimmed in sliver, which she accepted even though she wore scant slips of dresses when elsewhere. Clever violet eyes looked at the floor appearing quite submissive but her teacher knew better, and had some heinous plans for her future.

Strange words to the Moriel who already killed two that tried to teach her, but she did promise and agreed it was a gift to live there, and only her youth will prevail if that promise will be kept or broken.
