Legends of Belariath

Thaurer

Thaurer was born to an elvish maid on the edge of the elvish city Vanima Tal. Shunned by her people for having had relations out side wedlock with a member of another race she was turned away from the city forced to give birth in the wilds. She named her half breed son Thaurer, a word which means literally Abomination. Thaurer's mother had to live a harsh life off the land raising her son the best she knew how. It was no easy life for Thaurer, shunned by Elves because his blood was impure. Having to endure his mother's cruelty at having to live apart from her kind. He finally resorted to violence, at the age of 14 a grave fever over took Thaurer and in a fit of madness he killed his own mother.

He fled west toward the human villages where he was told his bastard father resided. In the years of travel westward he came across a band of traveling wolven mercenaries and a pack of tribal gypsies falling in love with the daughter of one of the strongest, he was told the only way he could win her hand was to join the warriors in a great battle against the great human city in the west.

He agreed and was trained in the use of the twin blade sword, gifted to him from a wolven warlord. He was thrown into his first battle against an army of over a thousand. Killing bathing him in blood for a second time as he began to live up to his name. The human enemy retreating with their tails between their legs.

Thaurer knew this wasn't enough to win the hand of his love so he advanced on his own toward the enemy camp, to cleave the head from the military commander and carry it back to his love as a trophy. He snuck into the camp and into the tent of the General and as the great commander slept made to bring his dagger down into the General's heart. However he was met by a rude surprise and a left cross across his jaw sent him flying.

He awoke he find himself bound and naked interrogated as to who had hired him where he'd come from, and information on his being apart of the wolven mercenary group. Thaurer tried to endure however when they brought forward a wolven captive threatening to torture and kill him, Thaurer caved, and gave them all the information he needed. The General however proved his wicked side and had the wolven tortured and killed anyway before Thaurer's eyes.

The General claimed Thaurer as the spoils of war. He made Thaurer a slave, taking him to a villa on the edge of the sea, proceeding to teach his new pet in the ways of pleasure and obedience. Thaurer with sprit broken fell into the new role with an enthusiasm to please. Unfortunately the General was much harder to please than any one man should be and often found it to his amusement to torture Thaurer, and change the rules of conduct in his house just to have an excuse to punish the half elf.

Thaurer finally got his revenge, locking his master in a room in the villa and setting the place ablaze, believing he'd finally killed the evil General. He found his weapons in the General's trophy room and took the collar from around his neck and fled south.

Finally coming upon Nanthalion he stumbled quite unexpectedly upon The Lonely Inn and its patrons. Seeing what was going on he thought he would take advantage of the first woman he saw, to reassert his position as a male. He found the woman too much to take however and was severely beaten and abused by her and her friends. Left broken and hanging from the slave poles.

Shortly after he was claimed by a Wolven male, healed and treated tenderly the wolven took pity upon him and made an attempt to place the collar back around Thaurer's throat. However it was not to be and Thaurer was rudely abandoned. Thaurer gave up on love and sold his weapons, taking a job in the bath house as a masseuse he perfected his craft. Finding the constant rape, love and rejection too much he fled from his job his life into the forest remaining there for quite a time.

Rejection would stay with him even today and he continues to try and search for someone who wants him. Some how craving the thought of being owned but never truly desiring it. He's fallen in love with many, but is now wary of women; he tends to steer clear of them. Instead going for men whom remind him of his General. He still fears the General coming out of the darkness one night to reclaim him but so far that has not happened.

He recently has become a student of a Torian healer, still searching from some sort of belonging.
