Born 112 years ago to a simple and hard working House, that carried no designs of Nobility, or desire to advance because they lacked the power of even a minor noble house, the Matron instilled in her children a love of their race, their Goddesses, and their place in their world.Her upbring was normal for a Moriel female child, Harsh and unrelenting, she was schooled in the duties that would last her long lifetime. starting with her place in the Moriel world, first that she was female and regardless of her own station in life, she was still above any male of her race, second her duties to her Goddesses and the Matron Mother of her House, who held the power of life and death over her.
Her first training started at home, learning tasks and doing chores keeping the house clean and caring for her quarters and to be ready and able to defend her House in the constant state of tension that is in all Moriel society. A tension, that stems from the Goddess Kirva's love of that tension to keep her children strong. For sixteeen years she had this training at home starting with chores, then personal service, then the last two years training for the entrance exam for the fighters academy.
Her early training had shown Ylith showed promise as a fighter, but little ability in magic. So she was enrolled in the Fighting Academy, there she stayed for the next ten years of her life, a harsh and demanding course designed to push the young Moriel to the limits of their abilities. Nine long years she was there in barracks learning the skills that she would need in later life, Weapons, Tactics, who the enemies of the Moriel were {everybody}, their skills and the tactics to defeat them. the first three years, up every morning, hard practice before breakfast, then lectures, then more weapons practice, then meal. then to bed.The next three years, a mixture of practice and patrols around the city, as time goes on going father and father from the city, always adding more, then the last three years patroling and fighting against just monsters and the other wild predators of the underdark.
The Last year, Six months at the Wizards school, learning some magic and how it fits in battle, which was just the fighter being taught when to duck,. Then the last six months at the School for Priestesses, where they were taught how the Moriel Goddesses have protected them against all the Enemies of the Moriel, and how the wars and intercity fighting are ordained of the Goddesses to keep her people strong. Added on to this were, for the females, lessons in the ways of seduction of males, how to walk, dance and numerous sexual manners and how to control her body and how to intice others to perform when she wanted them to. All lessons she would make good use of later in life, when she left the NeverGloom and began to wander.
On reaching the end of her schooling, none of the major houses around them were, at the time, hiring or looking for warriors, So like most of Her classmates at the Fighting School She began to wander soon reaching the surface, where She survived as a guard, and sometime courier. staying long enough to learn more, then moving on.
One day riding over the top of a hill She gazes down on a small town, with a large inn, riding in She goes to the Inn to see what it has to offer.
