House L'Orn Spring Festival

Postby Naomh on Sun Mar 11, 2018 7:29 am

Word is spreading that House L'Orn, formerly ran by the Lady Sutara now overseen by Kir Trelander, is preparing to host a festival for the end of winter and coming of spring.

The Majordomo of the castle, a curious fae by the name of North has been seen talking with the villages within their land as well as in town gathering items and information for the event. Little more is known for fact but many reports hint at food, drink, games and general celebrations for the end of frost and fertility of the farming focused lands.

-----
OOC information:
A feast is planned for House L'Orn in #TLI-Borderlands on Saturday March 24th. It will mainly just be a reason for people to come in and socialize though I am thinking over some ideas for games and the like to spur some extra fun.

A proper start time is not figured out yet but the hope is to begin as early in the day as possible and the event will continue to run for as long as there's interest.

All are welcome to intend.

Extra information will come as the day draws near, pay attention to this thread!

House L'Orn - House of Lone Destiny
The outer wall of the castle, 16 feet high and made of granite and smooth lime are decorated with banners and flags, many bearing the emblem of the House of Lone Destiny upon a field of red but many other are simply bright streamers of greens, yellows, blues and many other colours of spring that bring festive brightness to the otherwise intimidating wall. A contrast matched even by the guards, stern-faced men and women with armour or hair decorated by paper flowers.

After passing over the moat on the lowered drawbridge and through the west-facing main gate of the castle guests will be shuffled in to the bailey, or outer couryard. Two stables are available on either side of the gate for those who rode in on their horse and further in white-clad maidens from the local villages will guide guests to the main grounds of the festival where brightly coloured tents and canvas canopies are spread over numerous tables set in a rough ring. Within the middle of the ring stands a large bonfire, filling the air with smells of the assorted animals being cooked in the heat of the flames.

Upon the tables candles are burning with a sweet scent, special from the apothecary their flames bring on a more relaxed state of well-being to those nearby, as well as reduce ones inhibitions, to better relax and have a good time.

---Food and Drink---
More local villagers and castle staff roam from table to table, offering food and drink to all who seem interested. Skewers of assorted meats such as lamb, beef and pork along with fresh bread would be the main dishes offered with wine, ale and of course water for drinks.

Mixed with the servers of white would be those wearing dresses of bright colours carrying trays of more unique foods and drink. Cream-filled phallic cakes and decorated cakes shaped like breasts, complete with a candy nipple on top. Sweet juices and nectars and small vials with concoctions that can be added to the main foods with but a request. "Be warned" The women will say, "What our trays contain may cause one to feel more festive in ways that may be quite unexpected." A common mention would be that many of their items contain the tianopo honey found in a popular 'orgasm pie' served in Nanthalion...

---Food and drink special effects---
Those who consume any of the treats or special drinks will have to roll for an extra effect. There are two types of treats, normal and mixed (example would be chocolate cake or chocolate/strawberry swirled together). The normal ones have simple Tianopo honey which induces pleasure, each snack has a different amount so one will never know if they simply will tingle, or make a mess. The ones that are mixed flavours have far more stronger effects for those who are more daring...

Consuming these treats/drinks gives OOC consent to have the effects below effect your character.

Normal effects - single flavoured food and drinks:
!r 1d10
1-4: Tianopo effect 1 - Faint, barely felt tingling and feeling of pleasure
5-7: Tianopo effect 2 - Noticeable arousal.
8-9: Tianopo effect 3 - Strong sense of pleasure and arousal.
10: Tianopo effect 4 - Orgasm

Effects will stack, for instance if one has two cakes and rolls a 5 and a 2, they will be under Tianopo effect 3. If one is unfortunate enough to be at effect 3 and roll effect 3 or 4, they will have 2 to 3 orgasms in a row due to overdosing on the honey.

Mixed flavour /special effects:
!r 1d6
1-3: Duessa's touch effect: Sense of touch is increased tenfold, making even the lightest caress cause a shiver of delight through one's body. Ends after three hours
4-5: Love potion effect: Intense arousal, builds up over three 'rounds' of posts the need for sex can become overwhelming, sense of touch is also increased threefold. Ends after two orgasms or three hours
6: Swap gender effect: The character's gender becomes swapped! Lasts 24 hours.
