Grand Reopening for the Temple of Uvelcra

Something was different this moonlight night. For many seasons the volcano had been quiet and the grounds surround the temple of Uvelcra had been almost cool. It was as if
a time of mourning had settled over everything. But tonight the door to her bed chambers had opened and warmth was felt once again starting from the ground and working its way up. A rumble, low and soft at first began to build in power and within the volcano Lava heated and bellowed forth sulfur smelling smoke. The ground began to tremble as Uvelcra himself shrugged off the heavy cloak of despair and lose. Meadow sat down and put ink to parchment. It was time to bring the temple back to life and once again bring worshippers to the temple and more importantly to Uvelcra. The following notice would appear all over Valencia, Nanthalion and surrounding lands.


Announcing the glorious reopening of the Temple of Uvelcra.
Meadow and many others have spent one year mourning the lost of The Grand Mallus of Uvelcra. Now the time has come to Celebrate his life and his return to the Dragon realm. Uvelcra has spent the last year teaching Meadow to become the Head Priestess and to carry on his teaching and fill his temple with worshipers once more. It is for the previously mentioned reasons that there shall be three evenings set aside. The first shall be for memories and stories and just fellowship about Sorgram. Offers may be made to Uvelcra by gifting the Volcano with anything that one might feel has some meaning to them about Sorgram. The second evening shall be about fun and contest with prizes to the winners. On the third evening The temple shall open its doors to all for a dinner and masquerade ball. Prizes will be given to the top three costumes and there will be door prizes as well. Of course the Alter room and Advil of Uvelcra will be open for any and all to use to make a sacrifice of pleasure. Word has come to Meadow VIA Uvelcra of a very Unexpected surprise towards the end of the evening. So plan to come and stay as long as you like for one or all of the evenings.


16TH of Oct ...

Starting at 7pm Central to 10 pm Central. Special arrangements can be made if anyone needs a later time.

Benches and chairs shall be sat up around a large bond fire for any and all to come and share Memories and stories one might have to Sorgram and his life here. Offering to the Volcano in his memory are welcome. The staff of the temple shall have drinks and snacks available for all who visit...

Starting at 6pm central time.

First comes Chaos...

Catch and hogtie a pig
Its simply really. Chasing and catching will be done by rolling 1d10 dice. If you roll a 1-3 you catch the pig and then the First three to get a total of 40 wins has hogties their pig and won. 1st 2nd and 3rd place. In case of a tie those involved will roll 1d20 and highest number wins.

Donkey Busting
Just get on the saddle and ride the bucking wild donkey to a stand still. 1d10 dice used. If you roll a 1 you have been thrown and can get back on but your numbers start over. First three to get a total of 40 wins in order 1st 2nd and 3rd place. in case of a tie those involved will roll 1d20 and highest number wins. In case of a tie those involved will roll 1d20 and highest number wins.

Bull riding. So you could ride a donkey but can you ride a bucking bull bare back? 1d10 dice used. If you roll a 1 you have been thrown and can get back on but your numbers start over. First three to get a total of 40 wins in order 1st 2nd and 3rd place. in case of a tie those involved will roll 1d20 and highest number wins. In case of a tie those involved will roll 1d20 and highest number wins.

Then comes fire...

Flamimg arrows shoot..hit the target.
Anyone can enter and try. 1d10 dice will be used but roll a one and you miss the target completely. Each well have 5 arrows and the highest number wins first prize down to third place. In case of a tie those involved will roll 1d20 and highest number wins.

Reward... Wrist bow with two sets of bolts-35-25 MMR vouchers


Walk the hot coals
Ok so you can shot a flaming arrow but can you walk over the hot coals. Not a long walk but sure to seem that way. 1d10 dice will be used. Roll a 1 and you have to start over losing any numbers you have already rolled.. The first three to reach 40 wins. In case of a tie those involved will roll 1d20 and highest number wins.

Well fire is hot but now its needs put out. Simply enough, just place the bucket on water on your head and get it to the fire in the pit and pour it over the fire. 1d10 dice will again be used.Roll a one and you have to go back and refill you bucket and try again with your numbers starting over. The first three to reach 40 wins. In case of a tie those involved will roll 1d20 and highest number wins.

Last come food...

Fruit Salad.. Now that sounds easy right?..Wrong.This is a tossed fruit salad. Each will have to throw one apple one orange one peach and one plum. 1d10 dice used for each fruit. first to get 10 for each friut wins. But you have to get a 10 to move to the next fruit. Roll a 1 for any fruit and start over with the fruit only. In case of a tie those involved will roll 1d20 and highest number wins..

Reward... 50lbs meat/2 Barrels Wine/Liquor- 35lbs meat/1 Barrel Wine/Liquor- 25lbs meat/2 Casks Wine/Liquor

Egg crawl.. About what it sounds like. Each person as get on hands and knees and have 4 jumbo eggs placed on their back at the same time, and then crawl across the lawn and put them in a basket. 1d10 dice used and first three to reach 40 wins. Roll a 1 and you drop yours eggs and have to start over losing all numbers rolled before. In case of a tie those involved will roll 1d20 and highest number wins.

Basket of plenty... A basket one your head with one cabbage, one tomato, one head of lettuce and radishes inside it. Carefully make your way to the table and place the basket on the table. 1d10 dice used and first three to reach 40 wins. Roll a 1 and you drop yours basket and have to start over losing all numbers rolled before. In case of a tie those involved will roll 1d20 and highest number wins.

The doors to the Temple of Uvelcra shall once again be open to anyone. Come enjoy a Masquerade party. Dinner and dancing and prizes for the best three costumes as well as some door prizes shall be offered. Anyone who wishes to make a offering of pleasure on the anvil in the alter room is more than welcome to do so. The theme of the party will be chaos and fire but all costumes are welcome and will be judged the same and any other. This evening is for joy and happiness. Come have fun dinner and maybe win a prize.
