This year has been the year from Hell after the previous year was also the year from Hell.

2022 can't get worse, right? Well, maybe it can. But in the meantime, we're going to say "goodbye, and good riddance" to 2021 and ring in the New Year with Wade's New Year's Eve banquet at his Midtown Sha`Shir Mansion!

Starting at 4 pm Eastern, partake in the delights of Callie's 38th Banquet with food and drink, including the Fire Peppers, which were unveiled at this year's Festival of Gifts. The Red Fire Peppers allow you to breathe red fire, and you can make fire rings, fire tusks, and fire bullets. The Orange Peppers allow you to breathe white smoke, and if you hold your breath, it'll come out of your nose. The Blue Fire Peppers will make you breathe blue fire, and you can blow a full rod of fire out of your mouth. The blue variety are hot enough to light a candle on fire. Might be a good idea to keep a few of those around for an emergency when you don't have flint or tinder. Try the Fire Peppers, show off what you can do, come up with new tricks, and be the life of the party!

Throughout the night, revelers will each write one wish for the New Year on a scroll, and burn the scroll in the flame of a giant floating lantern. The lantern will be launched at the stroke of 6 o'clock Eastern, which is midnight Sha`Shir time, signifying the people's Appeal to the Gods. We will watch as it flies over the western ocean and out of sight.
