The spellshaper was hit in the face by a page that had escaped out the doorway of a shop she'd passed in the strip market of Nanthalion. Not that she was used to getting hit with random things often. (Unless she gratuitously asked for it.)

Such happened and her hand withdraw the page to straighten it out for her to read. How glorious! This would give her an excuse to actually abide by Archaon's wish for her to go shopping. Not that the drak`sen had been adamant about her spending; only that he liked seeing her wrapped like a gift. A smile spread across her mouth and she stopped her slow gallivant to cube a group of fae, spending message to respond to the open announcement in confirmation of attendance.

She hoped that in this, she would be able to coax His Grace from his work so that he could come out to share in her joy of socializing and possibly, they both could keep a sensitive finger on the population thus far.

Or they could just lose some money on the gambling. Either way, it sounded like a good time!

She had not been back long enough to replenish her staff which meant she had to find another way to respond to the invitation. Once she had written a reply of acceptance she would pick up the stick of wax that sat on one side of the large desk, running a finger along the bottom edge she would then place it upon the letter and press her seal upon it. With that done she would summon her familiar a large white wolf with eyes that match those of his mistress. When the missive was read and it was known of her intent to attend the parchment would burst into flames in the shape of a phoenix that would rise up and then explode into harmless sparks that drifted down and disappeared.

A tiny little batling would arrive with a note held in her little feet. The note RSVPd for Pipistrelle, who intended on being present for the festivities. Mission completed, the little bat would bumble off into the night.
