I replied to Sorgram's thread, but I'll post here as well.
-Dancing Flames-
The world looks on across the plane
The flames kiss at its fields
The heated passion driven on
By powers the wind now wields
The fury of the flame is at
The mercy of it's queen
It works the oher way as well
Tales of where the flames have been
A wild fire spreads at pace
That's driven by the gales
And wind is moved by heated air
Where fires tell their tales
A dance among the golden plains
Will leave the ballroom black
Yet in a month or two this waltz
Will bring a new life back
Reborn among the wild flamed ash
The sprouts will grow and bloom
The seed sewn by their melody
This heated bride and groom
The wind will move with grace and speed
The fire will twist and sway
And if the fires burn clean this field
They'll burn another day
Let the blood flow,
Let the tears fall,
Open your tired eyes
And realize that you're just too late.
