It has been several years since she awoke and the war started. Yet I remember it like it was yesterday.
My archaeology class was about to end for the day when our professor informed us that we would be going on a field trip. We looked at each other and began to talk among ourselves it was rare that we were allowed to do actual field work. The professor waited for us to quiet down before saying that we would be going to the Grand Canyon for a paleontology dig. We were stunned by that news for it was really rare for us to do a joint project with the paleontology students. Just as the bell rang the professor told us to be ready to go the next day.
The next day we met and headed for Arizona.
