Somehow it all fell apart, something had destroyed her heart,
Family divides, the pain one hides,
It was all too much for her to bear, wish she'd turned to ones who'd held dear,
Cannot imagine her pain, but been there, what was it, her bane,
Niece, nephews of mine, she left behind, so does make my heart pine,
To smother them in love, as she watches from above,
They will be happy, in time, they will rise and shine,
Departed mother, you no longer suffer,
Your daughter, my niece, will think of this,
She has a gift of a heart like yours, and you and others, she utterly adores,
Cannot change now, but only how,
The future unfolds.

Lovely

I glance out, beyond my window sill, to darkness creeping upon yonder hill. A hawkish cry engulfs the night, the mere sound of illiciting fright. Safer, home indoors, than out there on those bloody moors. No need to run and hide, to struggle to survive. Yet nature, kind and cruel and right out there, the predators rule.

Feel uses aspects of other things have written, did a few weeks ago, while restless in the dark hours of the night.

With the Sun falling toward a distant horizon, its splendour becomes a feast to set one's eyes on. Wondrous hues blazing across the sky, what truer beauty could make us cry. For yet another day has come to pass, with so many before us til our last.

Sometimes we never know what life brings, be it love, marriage or diamond rings. Perhaps that's not for me, can only hope, wait and see. But sometimes all we need, is to not let our hearts bleed. Instead give and share the love within, for giving all, still so makes our life a win.
