A lot of Aerin's songs are more prose than anything else, me making up stories as I go. Sometimes, however, a song feels complete enough to be archived, and so I'll save them here when they happen... most are written on the fly.
Daisy Lightfoot
Orgin: Halfling
"And every night, with bellies tight, the barrels dry and bare, you'd find me dancing on the right, with Daisy Lightfoot there!"
“One Night I fled oe’r hill and dale, to find my errant wolfhound, A loaf and bottle in my sack to picnic when he was found, I heard his howl, there on the prowl, my mead he’d come to share, Oh how we laughed and sang and played, with Daisy Lightfoot there!”
The night was young, the drink was cold, the food was hot and free, I left my table so to ask a maid to dance with me, she seemed to shy, she seemed so scared, but I asked without a care, I knew she’d dance, for who could not, with Daisy Lightfoot there?”
"The night went cold, the fires burn low, the food was et and gone, and the party yet continues while Daisy dances on. We'll leave regrets for summer sun, let moon and stars all stare... we'll dance the Goddess' favorite song, with Daisy Lightfoot there."
"Just a step this way, and another step there, any left foot can be nimble when there's Daisy Lightfoot there..."
"We never tire while barrels last, or meat to slake our hunger, we'll laugh and play till morning light, all worries rent asunder, and I will play and I will dance with all without a care, till I find my rest upon my bed, with Daisy Lightfoot there!"
