Death's Invitation

Long curly hair of inky darkness cascading down
Look into eyes of death it can be renown.
Love and life go hand in hand,
Watch your step with this one or you could be in the ground.

As you hear the song that plays along,
Are you sure this is where you belong?
Come along and sing with me
For you never know what will be.

Close your eyes and make a wish dont hold back,
Dont hold back for now is the time to attack.
Red and black orange and gold,
Do you see what has become or are you just so cold.

The screams of pain,
Yet you have no gain.
Come along with me,
Or should you disagree.

Hold back now for it is time to go,
You are not the friend for you are my foe.
So feel the cold cold breath of the one to come,
For your time is done do you not see what you have become?

So close your eyes when you see this lady and hold your breath,
For if you do this she may leave you be and it not be your death.
Hold your tongue my dear one,
For she is not done.

One more call to all to see,
That this one is crazed with merci.
For this moment for this time,
That is if you are so incline.

Bring forth the thunder,
or will that make you wonder.
What about the lightning,
or is it just as frightening?

Death comes but to all,
She is just waiting for you to join her ball.
Don't worry now for it is to late,
The time has come for you to meet your fate.

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.

Never Forgotten
For the ones who lost their moms.

You left me here to help the others,
For some never had mothers.
My tears fall slowly at the thought of you,
I feel so lost without you I am blue.
You are the one that thought me love,
Now you fly with angels and doves.
Why could you not stay,
I would come and wait for you by the bay.

Mother dear I love you so,
I hate how I feel so low.
I know God wanted you home for your wings were ready,
And with one sweet kiss and one strong leap you had your wings and was steady.

More then a little late, but some late night ramblings seemed to form in SOME form of a poem, so I figured I would post it... The miracle of fatigue and beer.

Fear. Fear... Fear...
Alone and cold,
that thing unknown,
It creeps up your spine,
occasionally sublime.

It's touch, tantalizing,
Paralyzing,
hot and cold,
stand and behold...
Fight or flight,
which tonight?

Fear, fear, fear...
Whispers in your ear...
Cold and alone,
stand in the unknown...
Mirroring shadow...
Shadow in the mirror.

Stand here a man?
Or a steer?
Are you there?
You're not here...
Moving lips,
inaudiable quips...

The shout of silence,
Beckon they once....
Twice and then again,
Where is he upon whom depend?
Lost, lost and gone,
Alone, a wolf is shawn.

No fur, no teeth,
No sword, no sheath.
No bark, no bite,
Fearful, flight.
Shadow stands,
Intangible hands...

Where once, bless,
Now stand helpless...
God's own shadow,
No shadow can endow,
The original which one could reap,
Now can only sow.

Stand in the cold,
Stand all alone,
Lost and tired,
I know your tried...
To help, cannot you come,
the man undone...
Now but a shadow.
