So have been getting a virus through gelbooru it seems that basically makes it seem like your computer has been locked by the government. The only way to unlock it being to pay a fee in a rather ridiculous manner that makes it clear its not legitimate (buying the greencard credit cards or whatever). Just thought I would put it up here though so people can know about it and not get tricked into paying.

Noscript and Adblock are requirements for surfing the net.

Also, if you don't have it, Spybot S&D is essential. It cleans your registry, organizes it, then takes a 'snapshot' of what it should look like.

Then, if anything, at all..ever..tries to change your registry, it'll throw you a warning and go 'hey, do you want this to be changed or not?'

With those three elements in play and active, you should be fine.
