This is a clarification on the process of purchasing and building a Keep or Castle for those who are entitled to such, and interested
Once approval is given for any of the following, and materials have been purchased, notification needs to be made by the REB clerk who took the order to the REB manager so they can process and link the next steps.

Keeps
These require floor plans to be submitted to the Manager of the REB and need to be approved before the materials may be purchased, or construction may begin on the project.

It takes 12 weeks to complete the construction of a Keep, with a miniumum of 8 people working each week.

When construction starts, a thread will be created for the specific purpose of keeping track of PC's who work on the construction of such a project. All payment for PC work will be arranged between the Purchaser and the Workers, it does not involve the REB at all.

At the end of the 12 weeks, any shortfall between the hours worked by PC's and the required amount, will be required to be paid in full, to detail the working of NPC's to 'Fill In' those hours. If this cost can not be paid, then it will be put into a 3 month mortgage.

Minor Castle
These require floor plans to be submitted to the Manager of the REB and need to be approved before construction may begin on the project.

It takes 18 weeks to complete the construction of a Minor Castle, with a miniumum of 8 people working each week.

Major Castle
These require floor plans to be submitted to the Manager of the REB and need to be approved before construction may begin on the project.

It takes 24 weeks to complete the construction of a Major Castle, with a miniumum of 8 people working each week.

Personal Temples
It takes 12 weeks to complete the construction of a Temple, with a miniumum of 6 people working each week.

Keeps and Castle Floor Plans

Keeps and Castles require the submission of floor plans to the REB manager before the sale and construction of such a building can be started.

The plans have to adhere to the following when submitted.

1) At minimum they have to be a rough outline of the keep, with basic dimensions.
2) They have to show each floor of the keep and its basements, and a rough layout of the rooms within each of those floors.
3) A rough outline of the surrounding courtyard, the stables and walls of the keep, to determine its shape and placement.
(So if it’s going to be next to a mountain, the plan must show that for future reference)
