Spirit Sphere
Dance of Spirits:
Casting method: other
Defending method: other
Description: Shaman X1: OOB
By use of this spell, the shaman is able to call forth the spirits in a dance of storytelling. This is often used for ceremony, meditation, rituals or anything else to add a visual. This visual is not perceived different by others as spirits usually are, for the spirits are aiding the shaman in telling a tale and bringing their thoughts and vision forth, rather than themselves being seen and otherwise interpreted by the individuals. The shaman uses only the most quelled and calm of the spirits for this task, as it takes a great deal of control to well them forth and furthermore, keep them subdued. In this time, the spirits feed off the emotion of the shaman.
The shaman may also use this when alone, for seeking advice and immersing themselves in the spirits without entering the spirit world.
:MECHANICS: No roll is needed. This is an OOB spell, used for roleplay and storytelling. Shamans of tribes often use such for storytelling and foresight at bonfires or in times of need. The shaman spills a bit of their own blood over a fire, which helps draw and control the spirits, giving them a physical connection to the shaman and the physical world. The images they form are displayed to others in wisps akin to colored smoke and shadow.
