Healing Sphere

Nerve Shock:
Casting method: ranmagatk
Defending method: ranmagdef
Healer x1

Description: A much useful spell for healers. The healer is able to send a blast of magic that targets the nerves of their opponent. Upon hitting, a shockwave of tingles is felt by the target and they become numb and semi-paralyzed as if every limb has fallen asleep. Healers may use this spell to remove extreme pain from a patient and allow them to work on them as well as to ward off attackers from themselves or give themselves a chance of escape in combat.

Mechanics: A ranmagatk vs ranmagdef determines success, and if it hits, the target is stunned for 1 round per 3 slots put into the spell. Regardless of how much the spell penetrates, it causes the victim no damage to their LIFE at all. While Stunned, the victim may not commit any offensive actions, but may still defend as normal, including if they wish to activate defensive spells, evade or stumble away. This spell is instantly canceled by the spells 'Cure the Senses' and Purifying Rhythm: stamina cost is 1 +1 for each slot used. The effects of the spell on the victim are immediately broken if they are subject to any form of attack - magical or physical.
OOB: As stated, this spell can also be used as a basic touch-spell when not in battle. It cancels out extreme pain and the likeliness of a frightened or in-shock patient of trying to escape help or otherwise panicking.

I think the casting and defending method should be clomagatk. Other than that, it looks fine.

I can change it, but I went with range for two reasons. One, other stun spells are ranged attacks so it made sense. Two, a healer trying to escape may not want to be that close to the one after them, to risk losing a hand for a touch-attack.

On the other hand, as Healers are heavily based on touch-magic, I could see this going that way too.

I agree with Yuka, healers are almost solely hands-on, and while this is a stun, your entry for the OOB effect of numbing/dulling pain implies this is a healing spell as well, which a healer would want to be close for. Does read more of a touch spell for me.
