Druid Questions.

1) Must they only serve Gaea in that name, or can they serve any related nature deity for their native pantheon? Such as a wolven druid or a drak`sen druid.

2) What limitations do they have within the Empire? As in can they perform handfastings/ bondings between people? For example, if a druid has three ranks of religious ceremony, can they do the same kind of thing a cleric or priestess could?

3) Is it possible for druids to get more spells that are suitable only for higher level "pure classed" druids, much like mages have? I see that quite a few spells are only for heirophants and makes it somewhat unattractive to keep the druid just -as- a druid. If it is possible, then I will try to create a few ideas myself and post them up.

No you don't have to serve only Gaea, however;
Mindset:
Druids are beings in touch with nature and her gifts. They rarely follow any agenda other than their own save for that of nature herself. They tend to be neutral in most matters until either their own selves or nature are threatened. They tend to prefer a balance as a rule and will work to keep it as they see fit. The range from dark to light depending on the druid, the darker choosing to interpret Gaea's will to that which best suits them, tending to favor the darker more destructive guises of nature than their lighter brethren, though either can manipulate the forces of nature to their best advantage.
Concept:
Druids are being blessed with the grace of mother earth. They understand how she has set up the natural scheme of things and are in tune with her will. The typically are defenders of her domains, though some pursue this more militantly that others.
Advantage:
Voice of Gaea
Druids have the ability to be understood by the creatures of nature. This does not mean that they speak the language of the creatures, but their voice is translated by Gaea directly to the woodland entities that have an animal intelligence or above. This does not mean the creatures will do as the druid says, only that they will be able to understand him.

Something to think about

As far as I know, or remember however, they can marry others but don't quote me fully on that.

Something for a dev member to answer. All things are however, possible.
