So was thinking about shamans late last night and about how they hold familiars in high regards and they are the only ones capable of rezzing a familiar and got to thinking. What if a shaman could manipulate the bond with their familiars to where when the owner got hurt the familiar didn't feel it but the owner feels it twice. I.E if someone stabbed joe then his familiar wouldn't feel it but joe would feel it twice but if someone stabbed his familiar then him and the familiar felt it

First question that came to mind was...Why?
Second was.. How would that even be done?
third.. If you did this what would happen if the familiar was killed?

As to why it is because shamans hold their familiars in high respects and would likely want to keep them from harm if possible. Secondly as to how. Shamans have to ability to see into the spirit world that is entangled with our world so they could manipulate the bond as such to cause a feed back loop if desired. As for the third question all effects remain the same
