Based on the current web site description yes. But expect the hooves may be changed when the race is reviewed because pure hooves would be very difficult for walking upright.

As with all races in Belariath, minotaurs are not cows who have become semi-human, they are humans who have taken on bull/cow characteristics. So they have largely humanoid bodies and hands, females have two breasts of normal shape and placement. Heads are like other races in that they take a cross between human and animal. I would suggest doing the same with feet too, to provide more stability when walking while carrying some aspect of hoof also.

I was told quite some time ago that I couldn't have hooves when I made my first mino <.<

That was my take on it too but the web site still implies people can. So I'm just warning that if he takes that option he'd have to change it later and so will any other mino.

I am curious about the Torians. They have their own creation story as well. "Made in the image of their god." ect. ect. So does this mean that this story is false? Not that my Torian even KNOWS the story but, I am just curious about that bit of history.

If every bit of history and folklore had to be nailed down to 100% certainty the world would be a much more boring place, wouldn't it ;)

*fanboi rage* Yes yes it does *BLARG*

Was just a touch curious. Though reading over the Torians and the Magi... Potentially did the Torians (d)evolve from Magi?

No Redraven, the Magi are a whole race by themselfs, they came from another world, no, not in a spaceship, it was a floating island but close enough and when they came, torian already existed here.

Sort of a funy way to explain it but it's pretty accurate lol.
"The heavens burned
The stars cried out
And under the ashes of infinity
Hope, scarred and bleeding breathed it's last."

Question comes because the Torians ALSO came from a floating Island/Continent in their history. And as someone who is new to the setting it seems possible that shit happened and yeah...

Ok... Now I have another question, because it came up in discussion.

There is a bit of a conflict in what is stated in the first post and what is on the website in regards to claws at least as it comes to cat people.

Site wrote:No Paws: Players sometimes misunderstand is that cat people have hands not paws. As such, the cat person has harder than normal nails, which can extend as normal cat claws, to shock and possibly cause fear in a cowardly enemy, but they enjoy the full-featured benefits of hands.

StormBringer wrote:7. No race has paws. They have hands. Fingernails can be reminiscent of claws, but they are still fingernails on fingers.

No conflict there. A Cat Person will ahve normal, human hands. In addition, their nails can be extended (slightly ... no Fu Manchu-style nails!) in a similar way to how cat claws can extend/retract.

I'm curious. What's with all the anti-animal rules anyway? I mean... Who cares if cat people want to feel an instinct to chase yarn or a Minotaur has a bull cock? Does it really hurt anyone if such things exist? This an ADULT role play site. There is no need for unnecessary regulations. Why is it so important to turn races that clearly aren't human into humans? If someone wants to play a human, they could play a High Human or a Barbarian. I see no reason to limit the possibilities of other races--especially those who want to shift into cats/wolves. Such things could even be possible for magic users with spells. Unless there is some paranoid country with insane anti-beast Internet regulations, I see no reason to regulate things that can only add to RP content and make the game more enjoyable for everyone. So someone turned into a kitty and got raped? As long as both partners gave the usual OCC permission, who really cares? Would it really hurt the roleplay to allow such things?

Stormbringer has ALWAYS had the rule and I for one am glad he does. To do what it seems you are suggesting would be beastilality and I am but I dont see that as fun for everyone. If you wish to know the rules read the website and if you need to understand them on something like that...well..read the rules again slowly.

I never said anything about not wanting to follow rules or changing rules. I was merely asking for the reasoning behind the creation of said rules. All laws must have a purpose.
