Inherited slave Please Read.

Postby Tawny on Sun Jun 14, 2009 9:01 pm

There is a guide line on inherited slaves that seems to have been swept under the rug. That can no longer be allowed. If the follwing rule does not apply to you then please do not request a inherited slave.

The purpose of inherited slave is only for *players* who both arrive in TLI together without having played here before and who are in a RL relationship. So it can never apply to existing players regardless of what they get up to away from TLI.

...Oh. Oops, sorry...I thought it meant that if the characters were preexisting for the players they could be brought in as inherited, and we'd been playing them privately for a little before - guess I read that one wrong. >_> <_< Won't happen again!

No one is being blamed and accused of anything. Just need to get back to the rules as SB intened them to be. So from now on the rule posted is how the inherited slave rule will and must be followed.

People who come to the Inn already in Master/slave relationships need do nothing more than register themselves via the Message Board to have their relationship formalised and protected by the empire.

For those of you who wish to bring in a character that is -already- collared to another character, the following rules apply:
1) The posting of OOC consent is required under the normal posting rules.
2) Under NO circumstances is the collared slave to appear IC before the collaring takes place (this means the owner must see a registrar IC'ly without the presence of the slave).
3) DO NOT log the slave character into Des for -any- reason until the collaring has been completed.
4) The 100 mhl registration fee still applies.
5) The waiting period is waived.

Hon you need to take a look at L's post on this section of the boards, it is stating that it is not just new players that want to come into the game can choose to have an inherited slave.

I'm prepared to extend that to those who come to TLI from another game with an existing online and/or IC master/slave relationship, even if they are not together physically. However, the *intention* of inherited slaves has always been that these are players new to TLI roleplay.

Just clear up any misunderstanding in the future, all collaring rules are the same for slaves and concubines. So this rule applies to concubines as well.
