Guess you miss a lot when you leave a place for a long time. Didn't find out about this until I was feeling nostalgic and wandered by.
I remembered him fondly, for a variety of reasons, not the least of which was as the eager target of japes and jokes. He just had fun here.
Anyway. Just another echo of the past ghosting through.
Fair winds on your journeys my friend. As you can see, you will be missed.

The gift been reaped, then went fallowed.
Older we get, our lives are narrowed.
Now that you are gone.
We were something, you and I.
Allied, we ruled the skies.
And privately you heard my cries.
But now you are gone.
8 years you have been gone.
Cold winds I speak to and beyond.
Of my friend I am so fond.
But now that you are gone.
Foundations we are, we both know well.
I carry our torch when you fell.
Until the darkness takes me as well.
Now that you are gone.
It's NOT right to forget our friends.
Who gave so much until in the end.
Of sorrow of sadness I do Descend.
Now that they are gone.
What kind of god that lets me live.
When others I know have more to give.
Of Death and dying, please forgive.
Because I am almost gone.
I end this with sadness and misery.
There is not much left that is of me.
But I will fight on for them you see.
Until... I am gone.
It started just a simple statement to the Batman as I don't want him to be forgotten. He was so so much part of the core of history of this realm.. And then I had a complete break down finding out that Sor and Pender were gone as well. I cried until I could no longer. So I wrote something and placed it here. Those that gave so much of themselves in here must be remembered.... always....
