A letter of Challenge

There could be noticed several messengers running about town to the more common announcement boards as well as to the Lonely Inn and the Arena in particular. Parchment posted through stroke of glue and slap of paper to message posts before the individuals would walk away for any who were interested to read.

The script is not stylized or flowery, nor would the message be particularly long and wordy, reading as such:

To the Fae known as Airy, a Challenge issued to meet in the Arena for a duel to submission.
Expecting a response within two week's time.
Challenge issued by: Menhir.


Simple and to the point.

"..." Abby would look at this so-called 'challenge letter' posted at The Lonely Inn. "... that big, bad drak actually going out of his way to challenge a fae of all people? ... huh." And with that in mind, Abby takes one copy for herself and stashes it away!

Best to show this to the fae, of course.

The fae looks at the flyer offered to her by Abby, and she only had a single word to say to that, which she wrote on the flyer and then put back up on the board. She then flitted away, back to Abby.

The flyer now had a pink-colored "NOPE~!" with a heart drawn next to it next to the notice of challenge, and below it there was a very cute lil stylized Airy face drawn on, sticking its little tongue out at the challenge.

Amethine, while checking in at the Healer's Dugout at the Arena as she sometimes helps around there, does a double-take on reading Airy's name on something and bursts out laughing. "Airy being Airy again... man some people have a stick up their butt." And with her spirits lifted at the thought that someone would be so insulted as to challenge a Fae of all people to combat, Amethine heads off to regrow a gladiator's arm that got lopped off in a particularly heated debate.
