While most people that visit the Towers or the Sorcerous Sanctuary arrive there by magic or flight, there are still numerous people that have to walk or ride there. A long and often quiet journey although any travel through the forest is one that can hold dangers. Dangers can come in many forms and one story that often resurfaces is the story of Rawena, the forest witch.
According to the story she at times approaches a lonely wanderer, either asking questions about who he (or she, she doesn’t seem to hold a preference) is and things happening in his life or in the town or taking him (or her) deeper into the forest for a night of sexual passion. Naturally there are those who don’t believe this ‘excuse’ for the dirt on one’s clothing and just assumes the man or woman uses the old legend to reassure their partner there is no cheating going on.
Often however one story about seeing the witch is quickly followed by a second and a third. For a few weeks there are several sightings and then for months everything is quiet again. Those who go into the forest to seek her never return successful or at all.
The description of Rawena varies although most seem to agree that she mostly looks human with quite the tempting shapes. Her voice is sensual but at the same time filled with power and sex.
