From the Blue Book

(Another in the series of "The Blue Book of Westernsea", as presented by our unknown translator.)

This entry, of all of the verses and texts in Vulpani, is the only one in the entire book to date that appears written in Common. It's also the only one I have so far found in the book that appears without a title. The handwriting is somewhat stuttered, indicating the scribe may have been writing hastily.

[Written in Common]
Eve of battle shall be broken;
Song of the steel shall be sung;
Words of the spell shall be spoken;
And bell of the age shall be rung.

Whole shall be made what was shattered
In fire born for the crown
But hope from that light will be scattered
Darkness’ pall over the town

Weak shall be found to be strong
The innocent impure
And the shadows of the wrong
Ever long endure

The Third to be Called shall rise;
The Wind of the West will come;
Silver be the Dragon's lies
as dawn brings beat of the drum.
