Please read these very carefully, and remember that if you do a crime not listed here, you will be noted under 'Special Crimes' And you will sit an amount of time until your Trial can commence and your punishment dolled out during that trial or, on the spot depending on the crime itself.

Fourth Offense: One week jailed. Fined 200 meherial. Public lashing. 10 lashes. Indentured to The Imperial couple or a Noble of their Chosing for no less then two weeks.

High Treason:
Fined, jailed, a Trial held with the Inquisitor and Judge, Scathien. Your fate will be decided at the time of trial and you will be jailed until such a trial can be held. No more then two weeks from the time captured and jailed and no less then one week after capture.

Attacking a Noble or an Imperial Guard or the Emperor himself:
Just as High Treason is handled, so will this crime be handled. No more then two weeks will you spend in a jail cell awaiting trial after your capture, no less then one week will you sit within a jail cell awaiting a trial. Your fate will be decided at this Trial.

Special Note:
If you attempt an Escape, do escape from the IG Jail, your fate if and when you are once more captured, will be decided at a trial. No less then One week after capture.

Trial Protocol
Whenever something comes to a head where a Trial must be inacted, usually held for either High Treason, or habitual criminals, you must bring a full report to Scathien first and foremost. He will decide on many things and brings all reports given to him to Stormbringer at the time of said trial. He is a neutral observer and will take in thoughts to your own candid words. But ultimately, he is the one that tries the criminals. Gives advice along with L.

What happens during a trial? Everything and anything can happen, but first the criminal comes into the room appointed, stands while the accusations of said crime are given to the Emperor. The Emperor in turn might ask questions but usually its the Inquisitor, namely Scathien in this case, that brings said information before the Emperor. Thoughts will be asked, the criminal questioned and then punishment or no punishment, is doled out.

Death is not all that normal so don't think your criminal will be immediately executed.

If you feel a case MUST be tried before Stormbringer, please put up a thread here. Time. Date of capture. Criminals name and station if any. What crime he or she has committed. Make a full report via IC or MB PM to Scathien.

Usually we don't want to make anyone wait longer then a week.. sooner if possible. We don't want people unable to play their characters long then need be.

What if a crime doesn't have to go before Stormbringer or a trial? The Guards on duty can and should bring any criminal into the cells. Make any inquiries needed. The ISA can be conducted for indentured slaves to be assigned though you can make suggestions on where you feel they can go. Or, depending on the crime, you can charge them a fine. For petty things, 50 mhl is high enough. For more serious crimes, consult your captain or L or Scathien. They should spend at least ONE night in the cells if caught of course so you have time to gather all information and make the right contacts.
