New flyers would be plastered up all around town in the various places of gathering, both in town and at the tavern itself
Needed!
Warriors, fighters and Champions of all kinds! Dethsiris, Jewel of the South awaits you!
The Empire calls upon its champions to go South and aid its armies in securing the latest of its treasures. Dethsiris sits upon the southern most tip of the continent, the first and true home of Gaean devotion, fallen to ruin in an old and forgotten war.
Combat specialists are needed, both magical and melee. Bring your skills and carve out a future for yourself in Dethsiris!
Details on the ships going south, with regularity and other fine print about no one being responsible for your death if you should choose to go south...

OOC: L`aquera's quest to retake Dethsiris and find the Tome of Angles concluded last night, to great fanfare, but the adventures there continue.
Dethsiris itself is massive, the size of Nanthalion itself, but abandoned and overrun and ruined. The city itself needs to be retaken, one block at a time, to be cleared and secured and rebuilt. This is not a short term effort, but is, instead, a long-term goal that will take a very long time to do, in-game.
The city itself needs to be cleared and secured, as does the surrounding regions, to say nothing of the underlying infrastructure full of vermin and other surprises, the coastline and the deep-water docks at the river's edge and any number of other locations.
Starting this week, I'm going to be running some quick-and-dirty quest in Dethsiris of the killing sort. Nothing complicated, nothing overly mental in nature. The city needs to be pacified and things need to be killed while the Imperial garrison moves in.
My quest style is simple: I don't use dice and I use a quick-paced cinematic style. My quests run about 1-3 hours, at most, with a focus on combat and player interaction. Due to this style, I can't and won't do overly large quests like L` has done, but will focus on smaller groups, up to 6 people, at most. But, since they're quick and easy and I can do them fairly regularly, people shouldn't feel neglected or left out as I'll make a point of being sure to bring in people who haven't done it yet.
These are not overly lucrative quest things. You'll get a few coin and the gratitude of your Empire. And, of course, the XP and the fun of killing things that need killing.
Keep an eye on the boards for notice about larger quests and other events as I think them up.
