Kalagoth Trinn

Sugar

“Sugar solves everything!” ~Aurora Raine

Startling awake in the middle of the day, the Half-breed named Kalagoth looked about slowly within his stony cottage, listening to the eerie silence that, more often than not filled his home. Majick was with the man whom she wished to be her master.. Oruedin Kye was the name he was told, so a slow drift of loneliness engulfed him. With slow movements, he lifted himself up from the massive bed, scattering the lining furs in various directions so that he could get himself partially dressed, only deigning to done his gray silken hakama for the short trip he was going to make. That fluid, eased gait gave him an exotic air that couldn’t readily be denied, however his aura had a rather negative effect.. the chill of the grave swarming about his body from time to time.

Despite the warmth of the cottage, the ever constant furnace belching heat within the main living room, he was most comfortable, only sweating when he worked himself up or was busy trying to finish a project at home. Forgoing his scythe or crossbow, he lifted up his lute and slung it over his shoulder, perhaps he’d play for himself to help ease his mind, despite the ever constant wish to bring death upon the citizens of Nanthalion or the patrons of The Lonely Inn. Tossing the door open, he eased himself outside, the chill of winter still evident, but Spring was soon coming to wash away the dreary nature of Winters touch. Very little hesitation was given, his steps were true, heading due east, past the strawberry patch he kept and tended to as best he could for Majick.. she always enjoyed a fresh batch of Strawberries and Cream.

Roughly sixty feet north of the Cottage was a massive Oak Tree, full of life, even in these wintry months; that was the Half-breeds destination. He knew that within that tree lived a Fae he adored, and has always adored throughout the time spent within these lands. He’d gotten rather lucky with having an Oak on his property, after some mess occurred and she needed a new home… or be sent back to the Fae realm. Memories came flooding back, very happy, welcome memories, which brought a faint smile to his features, a smile he hadn’t had in a while. With Aurora, he didn’t have to worry about being someone else, even with the transformation that tore his bardic soul from him, replacing it with the reviled practices of thanatos and necromancy, leaving only a shard of the essence of what his soul was before.

Careful fingers splayed themselves over the trees trunk, feeling the rough bark seek to hinder his movements, only pondering if she was within, or wandering about the forests embrace before turning his back to the tree and sliding down its trunk, a sigh of relief fluttering from his lips as the bark scratched his back, leaving welts and upraised flesh, but no less pleasurable and relieving. Tilting his head back against the oak, he started settling his lute in his lap, his knees bent and feet planted against the earth. His long, agile fingers caressed the chords of the lute, the mithril singing out as he started to play, that part of him the taint could not smother and destroy, he simply wouldn’t allow it.

“Sometimes I can only breath the night, wishing that everything would be right…

Sometimes the pain within me burns, and the soul of my soul thrives and churns…

I really cannot believe, that my true soul had to leave… all I have… is to grieve”

His singing was interrupted though, ears pivoting as he heard a soft giggle from above, then his eyes lifted upwards, to spy the nude form of a Fae woman. Aurora Raine, a Mauna.. or Earth Fae, the first person that he had the pleasure of meeting.. and deriving a great deal of pleasure from with his coming to Nanthalion. Through the two or so years here, he’d always kept in contact, as much as possible with the Fae, and perhaps there was more there than a simple infatuation, he truly cared about her. As her soft form came down from the tree, it landed, rather unceremoniously in the Half-breeds lap, her bright features gazing up at him with a smile.

“Hiya Kala, how’re you???” That ever innocent voice and face looked up to the dark features of the half-breed, eliciting a smile from him. His fingers caressed over her arms, shifting her slightly so that her legs would straddle his waist, a much more comfortable position for him. “I could be better, much better… However your appearance has started to turn my day in that direction.” Her face brightened to his words, she was a beautiful thing to him.. the innocence, the beauty, the simplistic mind that didn’t worry about the larger things that most did. Of course, she started to run her hands over the smooth obsidian flesh of his body, as if searching for something in particular. Down his chest, her body shuffled back down his thighs, groping at his waist, hips and crotch.. till she found a pouch. With a squeal she snatched up the small brown pouch and hurriedly unbound the opening.

Much to her surprise, she’d find exactly what she normally did when procuring that pouch, sugar and chocolate. He’d watch as her all too eager fingers dipped into the pouch and pulled free one … two… three sugar cubes and popped them into her mouth, a decidedly happy sigh being heard. Ebon digits danced over her arms, sliding free to rest upon her waist while she crawled back up his body, once again straddling his waist with her legs. A bit excitedly, she attempted to speak, which only ended with her mumbling and spraying his face with a few speckles of sugar. Despite all this, he kept his smile on her, his fingers dancing over the vine that adorned her body, causing her to shiver slightly. “Kala….”

“Yes Aurora?” His only response, a slight grin on his lips from the teasing caress he gave her. His eyes set on hers, and for a few moments, she simply stared, as if the incandescent swirls of jade in his amethyst eyes were somehow hypnotizing the fae. Shaking her head slightly, she pressed her naked form against his bared chest, feeling her silken, hairless mound against his belly and her breasts against his torso, she’d set her head against his chest, listening to his heartbeat. “You smell funny…What happened to you?”

Blinking a moment, he gazed at her in silence, pondering how best to answer her question, reaching up with his right hand and setting it upon her cheek, thumb caressing just under her eye. “Well.. I’ll try to explain it as best I can for you.. I was very ill for a few days.. this last week, That taint I told you about.. a while back, it’d gotten worse.. and now.. this is how I am, I can call forth the dead things and have them serve me…” Her large eyes just blinked at him before snuggling against his body again, enjoying the warmth that he had to offer her. A whisper escaped her lips soon afterwards, one that put a rather large grin on his face and caused him to laugh…

“You need some sugar. Sugar’ll solve anything..”
