Finding Your Fortunes Again - Do I Dedicate Today To One

*Some people honestly believe that Ichilandar Shimmerstrike is all about money. That is completely untrue. He is also about favours earned and acquisitions made. In short, he's a capitalist. One could also call him an opportunist, but he likes having actual benefits attached to his actions. Why do you think he bothers to work when he really doesn't have to? He could easily live off the fortune of the woman he states he hold naught but love and respect for, but has no desire to. It is more than pride that drives him, though. Something about "useless males make great sacrifices" still lurks in the back of Ichilandar's mind. This little piece was written actually by the dark elven ranger when he was going through the markets in Valencia.*

Finding Your Fortunes Again - Do I Dedicate Today To One
by Ichilandar Shimmerstrike, firstborn son of House Tintoreda

shall I bring home something different
for the one whom I dare love
to taste upon her tongue
though shall I cut one of these open
and lay it along her thighs and hips
a slice for every place from toe to tailbone
so I may savour its sweetness
every time my tongue grazes her skin
for though the fruit itself
is something delicate and sweet
will it taste so much better
against her dark and generous skin

something that I have rarely seen
these fruits of toughened skins
which hide something to be treasured
by any who understand natural luxury
with an inner flesh pale and green
does it remind me of young jade
and in the sun does it flash brightly
like gemstone of weak emerald
but once my teeth sink down
the skin itself do I ignore completely
as juice dribbles down my chin
trailing along my throat slowly
and even with winter's bite around
does it feel like tongue lapping
so lost in my reverie am I
do I gain an audience just cooing

licking my lips of the juice
do I smile at the nearest one
a handsome male of the vulpani
growling at him hungrily
watching him hold himself and blush
while his fellows cough and turn away
is more than enough amusement
to turn my shadows bright
and with coin in my fingers
do I buy out more than a dozen
for have I now some interesting ideas
of what dessert shall be this night
