Oak the Fisherman

The Legend of Tesan, Silvercloud Warlord

As told by Oak The Fisherman

In my travels to the Imperial's city, I met a great chief of a clan from far away that had gone to war against the empire. She was a woman so loved by her people, that when her warriors fell in battle, they wouldrise up from their graves to keep fighting for her. She was so strong, that her swordwould cleave stone like bread, and had such beauty that to look at her flesh would makea mortal man blind. Her kiss would give a man the strength of ten men, and to taste herskin would make your beard grow three inches overnight. Her war against the Empire raged for nearly a century, but such was her skill in battleand her shining beauty, that time itself looked the other way for her. Generation aftergeneration fought, died, and fought again under her leadership.Tesan was a woman of great pride and strong will, but neither was so great or so strongas to outweigh her love of her people. As the war drew on, her people were suffering atthe empire's numbers and weapons. So Tesan, Warlord of the Silvercloud Clan, did what she had to do. She offered to accept defeat, if the Empire would take her people as it's citizens, to be healed and fed while they recovered from the great battles that had passed. But her people would not accept this. As long as the great Tesan was among them, they wouldfight for her. So she sacrificed her title and left her people to be healed. Her people were greatly saddened, but not close to as much as she was. She wanders the landsof the Empire now with nothing but her name, her sword, and the memory of what shehad done as a true, worthy leader. These memories granted her a little comfort, but theywould not keep her warm at night. When she stopped at a small inn was where I met her andheard her great tale. I was so awed by it, I had to have her. When I grabbed her to pull her to my bed, she nearly tore me apart, but I wouldn't let go.For three days and three nights she fought against me, until I finally tore her from herarmor and blindfolded myself with a strip of her skirts. Then I took her body under mine, and she stopped struggling and gave herself to me.When we finished seven days later, I uncovered my eyes as she was dressing, and I caughta look at her bare shoulders. By the time my sight returned two hours later, she had gone, left to continue her wandering.
