Centaur Tribes

Jandar's Tribe

Jandar was the eldest of the three brothers that broke free and established themselves as the heads of the Centaur nations. He was a proud warrior, strong of both foot and arm, and the best hunter of the three. He taught those who went with him how to hunt, track, and become the best at what they did. In the later years, when the centaurs were drawn into conflict once more alongside the humans, Jandar's tribe was the first brought, for their fierceness in battle, and their lion's heart...their unshakable will.

Jandar's tribe tends to gravitate towards physical fighters, such as warriors, rangers, and laymen, along with the occasional entertainer and cleric sprinkled in, for both healing and passing on their stories. They are a proud tribe, and almost always dominant. If you can cow the spirit of a Jandar tribesman, you have some skill indeed. Jandar's tribe is of the desert...where their hearty nature serves them well, and their hunting skills make their fewer opportunities count that much more.

Raynmos' Tribe

Raynmos was a few years younger than Jandar, and he, as a result, didn't have a lot of the fighting training that Jandar did growing up. Instead he focused on the arcane arts, turning his skills to the communication and harmony with the forests and nature around him. When wisdom was sought from the centaurs, chances it was from a member of Raynmos' tribe. Loyal but neutral in most conflicts, they tend to only fight when threatened, but when they do, they are as fierce as Jandar's tribe...just in a different way.

Raynmos' tribe tends to gravitate towards the nature-related magics...druid, clerics, healers...with laymen in for the hard labor, and the rare entertainer for the lore of the tribe. They tend to be better with magics than the other tribes, and their lore in the arcane arts are second-to-none in the centaur nations. They tend to stay in the forests of the worlds, preferring the solace of the woods to practice and master their arts, but when they have learned what they can, they have been known to come tot he magical capitals of the world to further their learning.

Dagha's Tribe

Dagha was the spiritualist of the centaur brothers...both fleet of foot, and strong of arm, he was balanced in the world, but excelling in neither. He learned at an early age to speak with the spirits, and to command them to do his bidding. When the centaur tribes left, he quickly rose to power in his niche, being able to ferret out the deepest secrets of his enemies through use of those spirits. He was the most cunning among the three brothers, and feared for his lightning quick temper.

Those of Dagha's tribe tend to be cunning, quick on their feet, and street smart. Shamans, entertainers, healers, and artisans, they are the most 'civilized' among the centaur tribes, being able to deal with the human population the best. They live in cities occasionally, with the bulk of the tribes living in the plains near the cities. They are a part of them, but not citizens. Chances are, if you see a large gathering of centaurs in the city, they are Dagha's children.
