Description: This spell is the terrible result of a mad mage taking liberties with the spells 'Blood Backlash' and 'Chill Touch'. Who wouldn't think that such small seemingly common arcanic spells could work so well with one another? Upon casting the incantation, energies gather around the wizard's outstretched hand, feeling both cold and hot simultaneously. Once the target is touched, the opponent begins to feel their blood run slower and the very sensation is painful, as if running frozen limbs under hot water; making it more difficult for them to move with their normal speed and grace. The target begins to sweat profusely. The outside of the victim shows what is happening to the inside of them; ice crystals beginning to form on their skin from prior sweat droplets.

MECHANICS: By making a successful !clomagatk vs !clomagdef, the player does normal damage like any physical strike, adding +2 to the damage for every 1 slot used in the spell. Also the opponent slows, their attack and defense rolls being sapped -1 per 3 slots for every round affected. Cast at maximum 15 slots, it lasts for 5 rounds: rounded down. The one casting the spell must be touching the skin of their victim, so any armor and magical defense is taken into account for the victim's defense, but spells that add to physical defense (like physical armor) are not.

Visited Umbara's Private Student Library on 4th Floor. Pulled books and texts pertaining from Row 3, 4, 5, 6 - Magical Theory (Books & Scrolls), Common Magics (Books & Scrolls). Was joined by James`Vodera for interviewing a pyromancer on the difference of fire magic and natural fire. (Consult of pyromancer for one of the "Root" spells.)

Found Grendalyn at BATHS; proceeded to question the wolveness about cryomancy for study about "Chill Touch"; with questions about the Water Sphere, differences magical vs natural ice damage, and the knowledge of such.
