This is posted elsewhere on the site but may be overlooked by some players:
Item of Power
IoP's will be available to anyone of any level at any time who wants to run
- - the equivalent of a level 20 quest
- - an event that equals the amount of work needed to run a level 20 quest *
- - a tournament (combat, sex or bardic) in the Arena that equals the amount of work needed to run a level 20 quest **
- The total amount of IoP's that can be held by one character is 5.
- in place of an IoP any of the above can be rewarded with two bonus levels
- there is no limit on the numbers of qualifying r/p specials that can be run by any player/character
- anyone who has qualified for an IoP at level 20 but who has not yet received it can change this to a request for two levels instead
- anyone who ran a level 20 quest but who didn't want an IoP can now ask for two levels instead
- all quests and events must be approved by the Quests Group, who will provide assistance as required. All Arena tournaments and events can be planned with help from the Arena staff but should also get a nod from the QG too.
* excludes shop managers running events for their shops
** excludes arena employees
Relic
To qualify for a relic you must have organized and run either a major storyline or quest. You can either recieve the relic or 5 levels. The maximum amount of relics anyone can have is 3 and there is no longer a level restriction.
Decision on whether a quest/SL is relic class will be determined by HC. Those considered too light can qualify as an IoP event or be expanded to qualify for a relic.
Legendary Item
Any time after your character reaches level 60, the admin may decide to issue them with an LI. This is completely discretionary and there is no automatic entitlement to it.
Wonder
Any time after your character reaches level 80 the admin may decide to issue a Wonder. This is also discretionary.
Notes
Very occasionally an IoP or even a relic may become available due to a quest or in return for special services to the game. These are additional to any items issued based on level.
Saying "Joe got his LI and I'm level 65 but I haven't got one" is not going to endear you to anyone and is likely to result in an even longer delay. We know who is what level and we know who benefits the game at large, either IC or OOC.
The Relics Group will work with you on helping to devise any special item so it fits within the parameters. However final approval is given by admin so don't blame the developers if you don't get what you want.
Similarly that group have no power to issue you with an LI or Wonder - or even to plan it with you - until they get a note from admin that your character has been selected to receive such an item. So don't bitch at them if you don't get what you think you deserve.
