The Consecration Ritual for the Children of Sheara, presented in Brief:
A fire, built from the wood of a lightning struck oak, to properly carry the offerings to the Goddess.
One feather, at least, taken from an unwilling member of one of the feathered races, “The Kiroan,” to prove the disciple’s willingness to face the ultimate enemy.
Yellow powder (sulfur) taken from volcanic caves, to prove the supplicant’s bravery.
Blood sacrificed from the supplicant, to prove one’s devotion to the Goddess and her cause.
All to be burnt over the fire, under a full moon, followed by a vigil, until the fire has burned itself out. After which the item in question shall be marked with soot from the fire.
Ritual complete.
