A Bard`s Memory of Empire

Midday on the twenty fourth year of Stormbringer's nation she was summoned to her teacher and mentor’s home. Soft steps led her into the dark luxurious sanctuary to be greeted by her teacher. Three long years of study and working in the name of the emperor found her in Nicholas Shade's home receiving a book made of the richest leather that had a metal clasp for locking it shut.
"You wanted to please the emperor, and be my assistant; today is the day you begin."
Tehya listened to him explain that the emperor Stormbringer had asked for, 'A Bard’s Memory of Empire' and in this book she was to record and date every event and gathering making it history.
Returning to the humble cabin in the woods she began to write watching the sun hide behind the clouds of winter. It was a barren time of year in Nanthalion, but the glory of a bard's words would be returned to the emperor yearly with details of each gathering and event.
On the twenty fourth year of Stormbringer’s nation, 'A Bard's Memory of Empire' came to be.
