How long does it all take?

All times referred to here are RL times as time runs faster IC and are not a real reflection of how long things really take in RL, just an approximation developed for RP purposes.

Dying, the art of using a variety of powders in solution to effect a color change, takes 1 day per color required.

Enameling, the act of covering with colored powders and baking in an oven, takes one day per color used.

Engraving, using tools to gouge out the relevant design takes, depending on the intricacy and size of the design 1 to 3 days.

Etching, the act of producing a design through use of acid to eat away part of the material, takes 2 days.
